How to use the calculator

Select Breed two Pals, click Parent 1, then choose a Pal from the Paldeck below. Your next click fills Parent 2, and the offspring appears as soon as both parents are selected. Type a name or Paldeck number into the Paldeck search to narrow the cards before choosing.

If you already know the Pal you want, switch to Find parent pairs. Choose the target and the calculator will list matching combinations. Use the search box above the Paldeck to narrow all 299 Pals and forms without leaving the page.

The Share result button keeps your current selection in the URL. Recent searches stay in this browser, so a useful pair is easy to open again on the same device.

Why gender can change the result

Most parent combinations work with either gender, but some special pairs require a particular male and female setup. Reversing those genders can produce a different offspring. Katress ♀ + Wixen ♂ produces Katress Ignis, while Katress ♂ + Wixen ♀ produces Wixen Noct in the current data.

The blue and pink badges show which parent is male and female. Click either badge to swap both genders, then keep those labels with the parent names when you copy a special combination into the game.

About the breeding data

Results use the community-maintained PalCalc v1.17.6 data prepared for Palworld 1.0. The calculator includes 299 searchable Pal records and forms across 44,851 combinations. Official Pocketpair artwork identifies the game, but Pocketpair does not supply or operate this calculator.

Forms are listed separately when they have their own breeding entry. That is why the number of searchable records can differ from Pocketpair’s official count of distinct Pals. If an older guide disagrees with a result here, check the parent form, genders, and game version first.

Frequently asked questions

Does parent order matter?

Usually no. The calculator checks both parent orders. Gender can still matter for a small number of special combinations.

Why did changing the genders change the offspring?

Some special combinations use a specific female and male pairing. Reversing those genders can point to a different result.

How do I find parents for a Pal I want?

Switch to Find parent pairs, search or click the target Pal, then choose a pair that fits the Pals you own.

Why can an older breeding guide show another result?

Breeding data can change between game versions. Also check that the guide uses the same form and gender setup.
